TERMS AND PRIVACY PURSUANT ART. 13 REG. UE 679/2016

I. Purposes of data processing.

a. Navigation data: computer systems and software procedures acquire, during their normal operation, some data whose transmission is implicit in the communication protocols of the Internet.

This information is not collected to be associated with identified users but could allow data subject to be identified through processing and association with data held by third parties.

This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used to connect to the site, URI of the requested resources, the time of request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of response from the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters regarding the operating system and the computer environment.

These data are not disclosed but are used only to obtain anonymous statistical information about the site and to check its correct functioning; they are kept for the time defined by applicable regulations of reference. The data could still be used to ascertain responsibility in case of computer crimes against the site.

Instead, the optional, explicit and voluntary sending of personal data collected through the compilation of our data collection form, involves the subsequent acquisition of the name and address of the sender, necessary to receive our newsletters, upon request for confirmation of your consent in the registration procedure.
b. Other personal data: apart from navigation data, the user is free to provide to the joint data controllers. personal data in order to:

- manage and execute pre-contractual obligations;
- manage and execute contractual obligations;
- fulfill obligations established by law, regulations and EU legislation;
- receive newsletter.

Data subject are allowed to give personal data and to refuse to receive any kind of newsletter, without any prejudice of any contractual obligation.

However, refusal to provide personal data will make not possible either to manage and execute any negotiation, neither to activate the requested newsletter service.

By registering for newsletter, the user’s email address will be added to the contact list of those who may receive email messages containing information of commercial or promotional nature concerning this site.


II. Cookies

Cookies are small files of text sent by a site to its computers, where they are stored before being re-transmitted to the same sites on the user next visit.
Cookies of so-called third parties, however, are set by a different website than the one the user is visiting: on each site can be present elements such as images, maps, sounds and specific links to web pages of other domains that are hosted on different servers than the site.
Cookies are used for different purposes: execution of authentication, monitoring sessions, storing of information about specific configurations about users accessing the server, storing of preferences.
A cookie cannot retrieve any other data from your hard drive, transmit viruses, or capture email addresses.
Each cookie is unique to the user's browser.

III. Methods of data processing. Data retention

The processing of personal data will be carried out in an automated and manual manner, with methods and instruments aimed at guaranteeing maximum security and confidentiality, by subjects specifically appointed to do so in compliance with the provisions of EU Regulation 679/2016.
Personal data collected and processed as a result of navigating the website www.persico.com will be stored for the time needed to provide the service and then immediately deleted.
The cookies installed by the site are temporary and are automatically deleted at the expiry time indicated in this document.
The data collected by Google Analytics services will be stored for a period of 14 months.
Retention period for contractual obligations is calculated according to Italian law (10 years after execution of the agreement).
After withdrawing of the agreement given for newsletters, you will be immediately erased from the mailing list.


IV. Circulation of data.

Personal data will be processed by the joint data controllers or persons appointed by them as managers, employers or agents.
Personal data may also be disclosed to other company of Persico Group according to artt. 49.1.b. and 49.1.c Reg. 679/2016 and to third parties responsible for providing services related to the activities of the site and executing contractual obligations for the companies.
As for example, these subjects are technology and telecommunication service providers, logistics service providers, system services operators, lawyers, accounters and any other subject identified by the Italian law.

All these subjects operate according to the instructions given by the joint data controllers.
The list of data processors is constantly updated and is available at the headquarters of the companies.


V. Complaints.

It is possible to lodge a complaint with a Privacy Authority in any case of unlawful violation of your data.

VI. Rights of data subjects.
Articles 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 21 of EU Regulation 679/2016 allow data subjects to the exercise of specific rights, including obtaining from the data controller the confirmation of the existence and treatment of their personal data and the possibility to have them available in an intelligible form; the data subjects have the right to know the origin of the data, the purposes and methods of the processing, the logic applied to the processing, the identification details of the internal contact person and the subjects to whom the data may be communicated.
Data subjects are also entitled to obtain the updating, rectification, integration, deletion and limitation of data, as well as the right to object, for legitimate reasons, to the processing of the data themselves.
