Persico is a custom integrated solution provider offering a full range of rotomoulding services, including design, co-design and industrialization of final products. We work in close partnership with our rotomoulding customers worldwide to achieve the most advanced, innovative solutions available on the market. Moreover, newcomers to the rotomoulding field will find that we take pride in sharing our know-how.

With three decades of experience in the use of rotomoulding technology, Persico is an ideal supplier of technologically advanced, reliable equipment and systems for the industrialization of plastics products in any application field – industrial and agricultural vehicles, earth moving machines, buses, furnishings, urban design and cleaning machines, to name just a few.

The Persico Design and Engineering Department works together with its customers so as to produce the best possible moulds, machinery, materials and systems to meet their needs. Our full-spectrum, integrated approach involves analysing the project from all points of view, which helps to shorten product time-to-market.

Persico Rotomoulding services

Most importantly, our designers and engineers have complete mastery of rotational technology, and are thus able to take full advantage of the flexibility of rotational moulding. We work with all major 3D CAD modelling applications (Omnicad, Catia, Solid Works, UG and Pro-E) and develop projects using the most convenient package for each customer. Our design proposals can be displayed instantly on the screen, which permits quick design development with direct feedback from our customers. The design proposals can be used to generate dimensioned drawings for modelling purposes or 3D files for direct CNC mould production. Additionally, our engineers can perform static and dynamic Fine Elements Analysis (FEA) to test the behaviour under load.

Frame design

Persico uses the structural Finite Element Method (FEM), which:

  • Optimizes frame design by adopting the optimal cross-section and structure.

  • Allows reducing the number of closure points (if desired, in combination with a Spider closure system).

  • Minimizes total weight.

  • Aides in choosing the best springs to ensure uniform closure force.

Furthermore, Persico offers laser frame design and manufacture, an innovative technique, which:

  • Uses 3D files, allowing collaboration with customers in the design stage, as well as during frame laser cutting.

  • Produces the frame during the milling stage or during aluminium shell casting. Executing these two processes in parallel allows us to reduce dead time.
