Disabling cookies

Apple Safari for mobile devices 
- Open the Settings app.
- Scroll and tap on Safari item.

- Choose one of the options: “Always allow”, “Allow from websites I visit”, “Allow from current website only” or “Always block”.
In iOS 7 or older versions of the operating system, the options are: “Never”, “from third parties or advertisers” or “Always”.

- Close the page. Any changes will be automatically saved.

Notwithstanding the above, the website Owner informs users that they may utilize Your Online Choices, which allows users to manage the tracking options of most advertising tools. Thus, the Owner advises users to use this resource in addition to the information provided in this document.

2. Period of data retention 
Personal data collected and processed as a result of navigating the website www.persico.com will be stored for the time needed to provide the service and then immediately deleted. The cookies installed by the site are temporary and are automatically deleted at the expiry time indicated in this document. The data collected by Google Analytics services will be stored for a period of 14 months.

3. Data processing procedures
The personal data collected will be handled, stored and processed by electronic means and will be stored on electronic media, as well as on paper, in a database format and on any other type of media that suits the purpose.
Special safety measures are implemented to prevent loss of data, unlawful or improper use, and unauthorized access.
The processing of personal data carried out by Persico does not involve automated decision making processes.

4. Communication and/or provision of personal data
The communication and/or provision of navigation data is a necessary requirement for the provision of the requested service (website navigation) and, as such, is obligatory for the purpose. Failure on the part of the data subject to communicate or provide his/her personal data will make it impossible for Persico to allow navigation on the site www.persico.com. 
The communication and/or provision of the data for other purposes is optional. Failure on the part of the data subject to communicate and/or provide the data will not, in such case, have any consequences for the interested party. 
The installation of technical and analytical cookies by the site www.persico.com is optional (it can be blocked through browser settings), but the non-installation of cookies could make the website services totally or partially unusable.

5. Subjects to whom personal data may be disclosed
The personal data acquired will not be disseminated, but may be disclosed, not only to individuals or entities that have the right and interest to access such personal information according to the law or European secondary and/or community legislation, but also to the staff of the Owner, as well as to companies, associations or professional firms that provide data controller services to carry out data controller activities on behalf of the Owner for the fulfilment of legal obligations, and for any organizational and administrative requirements necessary to carry out the required services.

6. Data transfer abroad or to international organizations
Persico does not transfer abroad or to international organizations the personal information collected through the website www.persico.com and the required tools on the site.

7. Links to third party sites or services
This privacy statement applies only to the data processing services performed by this website and the tools provided by said site and does not extend to other websites the user may navigate to through the use of links to those sites, whose operators act in the capacity of autonomous data processors. Before accessing third-party services, users are thus advised to carefully read their privacy statements.

8. Rights of the data subject 
With reference to the abovementioned data processing, the data subject has the power to exercise the rights pursuant to EU Regulation 679/2016, such as, by way of example, the right to obtain information about:
-    The source of the personal data; 
-    The data processing purposes and procedures; 
-    The logic involved in data processing using electronic means; 
-    The data identifying the site Owner, the data controllers and designated representative. 
The data subject has the following rights:
-    The right to access, obtain, update and/or rectify and, if he/she deems it in his/her interest, to supplement the personal data;
-    The right to obtain the erasure, transformation into anonymous form or blockage of personal data that has been unlawfully processed;
-    The right to restrict the processing of his/her personal data. 
Furthermore, the interested party shall have the right to receive a copy of his/her personal data in a standard format (the so-called “Right to data portability”).

Furthermore, the data subject has the right to object, in whole or in part:
-    For legitimate reasons, to the processing of the personal data concerning him/her, even if the data is relevant to the purpose for which it was collected;
-    To the processing of the personal data concerning him/her carried out pursuant to Article 6, paragraph 1, of the GDPR, letter (c) (“processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject”); or letter (f) (“processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third party”) including the profiling based on these provisions.
-    To the processing of the personal data concerning him/her for the purpose of delivery of advertising material or direct sale or conducting market research or commercial communication (direct marketing), including profiling to the extent it is related to such direct marketing

The data subject shall have the right to withdraw his/ her consent to the processing, when it is based on the provisions of EU Regulation 679/2016, Article 6, paragraph 1, letter (a) (when “the data subject has given consent to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specific purposes”), or Article 9, paragraph 2, letter (a) (when “the data subject has given explicit consent to the processing of those personal data for one or more specified purposes”), at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on the consent given before its withdrawal.
The data subject, in the case where he/she is of the opinion that the processing of the personal data concerning him/her is unlawful, has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervising authority in the Member State of his/her habitual residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.
