Pre-series Moulds
Pre-series moulds construction (for low production – LPT) by milling is carried out with new technologies and avant-garde materials.
By-passing model construction, it is possible to obtain directly a mould, which permits the manufacturing of a limited number of prototype samples.
The result is a drastic reduction of the production time and anticipation of the new boat entry into the market, apart from a cost reduction.

Production Moulds
The manufacturing of fibreglass production moulds is an important service that Persico Nautical Division is in the position to offer.
Engineering by the new 3D software system, our experience in plugs and milling and the respect of the boat builder's specifications lead to high quality and resistant moulds.
Quality moulds guarantee: best production and low finishing costs

Direct Moulds (Effebidue – Large Boats 54 metres)
Technological development of CNC milling applications in direct moulds construction (without any type of model) for Maxi-Yachts realisation.

This is an innovative technique developed by Persico Nautical Division concerning the direct construction of production moulds, divided into shares, obtained by CNC milling, for the moulding of large boats up to 50 m in length.
The peculiarity of this approach is to initially achieve a great deal of 3D design work about the part to be implemented (hull, deck or superstructure) and about the rest of frame support structures of different mould parts. This allows to achieve remarkable results in terms of time delivery reduction, as well as to obtain a much higher quality level compared to the actual one regarding this size of maxi-yachts.
This innovative construction methodology allows (without carrying out any type of starting male model) performance of shares mould for maxi-yachts large from 25 m to 50 m in length, obtained only through direct CNC mould milling, and then with the best in dimensional and geometric quality and in compliance of forms created by designers.
At a time like this, when the new boats of this size are driving the market, or when they are subject to restyling (which happens much more frequently than before), this new constructive approach proposed by Persico Nautical Division can respond much more readily and quickly (as well as at much higher quality levels compared to traditional techniques of construction) to market and ship-owners demands making it winning.

Frames
Also the frame engineering is realized with the help of the new 3D software systems.
The different types of frame can be fixed or mobile.
The most important advantage is due to the fact, that the frame is manufactured at the same time of the mould.
When the mould is ready, the frame is ready too, and the delivery times are reduced.
Each frame is engineered according to the shipbuilders’ specifications, in order to satisfy any production requirement.
