1.
New surface treatments:
- 1)
RELEASE 1 (shiny finish) - 2) RELEASE 2
(mat finish) - 3) SHINING (extra-shiny finish)
The result after any of the treatments listed
above is: an easy demoulding of the piece
which is shown to have a brilliant shiny
surface that lasts considerably over time
- FLANGE HARDENING
Persico offers the possibility of an electrochemical
hardening, which can remarkably increase
the flange hardness (600 H). Moreover, this
treatment makes the flange anti-scratch
and prevents the polyethylene powder or
other material adhesion on the flange
- STRONGEST
High technological coating, which provides
an exceptional mould hardness (350 HB),
in addition to the release effect. The treatment
is carried out on the entire mould surface,
and it is followed by internal and external
cleaning, which guarantees an optimal thermal
conductivity.
2.
Special internal insulation
Persico special internal insulation allows
to obtain cuts on scrap areas, without necessity
of further pieces recovery. The cut finishing
is very good, for sure better than the traditional
Teflon plate.
3.
Frames by F.E.A. analysis
Innovative frames planned by F.E.A. (Finitive
Elements Analysis)
The structural analysis with F.E.A. allows:
1. frame optimisation through the use of
appropriate sections and structures;
2. closing points reduction (eventually
associable with “Slider” closure
system - Pat. Persico);
3. total weight minimization;
4. appropriate spring choice to uniform
closure force.
4.
Laser frames
“Light” frames realized with
laser, ideal for CNC moulds (with flat parting
line) or where the lightness factor is important.
5.
Mobilisation: much more than simply "accessories"
Persico rotational moulds are equipped
with the most suitable and advanced technical
solutions, in order to facilitate and speed
up productivity.
-Insert supports;
-Mounting plates;
-Second layer powder charging;
-Ventilation;
-Quick and automatic demoulding;
These
are only some of the technical constructions
developed from time to time in order to
satisfy the specific requirements of each
client.
6.
Prototype moulding
Thanks to its 2 rotational machines,
Persico can test and produce samples (up
to 200 pieces) in order to check mould working
and reduce the time necessary to obtain
the prototypes for an exhibition or to be
shown to final client.
Rotational
Moulding advantages
- Not being at stake strong pressures (when
compared for example to those present in
injection moulding or usual material stretches
of blow moulding or thermal demoulding)
rotational moulding can obtain pieces free
from internal pressures.
- Very big items and very complicated geometries
can be moulded fairly easily.
- The plastic pieces have a good uniform
thickness (resulting from the thickness
consistency with which moulds are made and
the resulting constancy in the transmission
of heat)
- Very big pieces can be moulded (eg 50,000
litres tanks)
- Being no internal punch, the thickness
of plastic manufactured goods is determined
only by the amount of material loaded and
then it is allowed flexibility in defining
the thickness of the piece itself.
- Design flexibility-from small and intricate
to large and complex.
- The ability to produce multi-wall mouldings.
- Metal parts or inserts can be moulded
together with the piece in its internal
thickness.
Synergies
with reference markets
There are many products on the market that
can be produced only with the rotational
system. With this process a variety of forms
of any size can be produced in the cheapest
way. For this production eclecticism is
possible to interact with different market
sectors, such as:
Nautical
sector:
We realize and guarantee even big dimension
moulds, typical of the nautical sector (canoes,
kayaks, hulls and also boats up to 5.5 m
length and 3.5 width)
Automotive sector
Furniture sector
Gardening sector
Packaging sector
Medical sector
Artistic sector
